Ashley Cornish has been a Certified Athletic Therapist since 2006, after graduating with a Bachelor of Science-Kinesiology degree from Simon Fraser University and obtaining her Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal College.

Prior to starting Infinite Sports Therapy, Ashley was an Athletic Therapist for seven years at Simon Fraser University where she worked with all the university varsity teams including; basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer, wrestling and football. She has also been involved with many community and provincial teams including; BC Soccer Provincial teams, BC High School Football, New Westminster Intermediate A Lacrosse, was the Head Therapist for Women’s Whitecaps and was a member of the 2010 Paralympic Games host medical team for Sledge Hockey.

Ashley keeps up to date with the latest therapeutic treatments, most recently completing courses in Muscle Energy Techniques of the lower back & sacrum, Muscle Energy Techniques of the neck & thoracic spine, Soft Tissue Release, K-Taping and First Responder.

Currently she is a member of the Board of Directors for SportMedBC, the BC Director for the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) and for the past 4 years has served as treasurer for the Athletic Therapists Association of British Columbia (ATABC).

In her free time, you can find Ashley running the seawall while training for marathons, skiing or snowshoeing the local mountains and stretching it out in a pilates class.
